At 14 I was issued my combat gear and lightweight fatigues, trained in the use and maintenance of a rifle and belt fed machine gun, sent into army training grounds and learnt survival, escape and evasion, squad tactics, avoiding and setting ambushes, attacking prisoner convoys etc.

LoL my school had an armoury filled with MOD kit (proper stockpile) and a shooting range.
