Ontario declared a state of emergency Friday morning to empower law enforcement to end the blockade of the Ambassador Bridge — the busiest commercial border crossing between the U.S. and Canada — and the Freedom Convoy protest in Ottawa, warning truckers who continue to block the Ambassador Bridge they will be punished if they don't leave. Ontario Premier Doug Ford told reporters that the federal government is enacting new powers to end the blockade. He said protesters will be slapped with hefty fines (amounting to $78,800) and jail time, according to Bloomberg.

Just granting yourself new powers with the sole purpose of erasing the resistance that is being waged against you is totally not tyrannical at all, oh no. The Soviet Union did the same and we know they were a beacon of freedom and the embodiment of a state that cared for its people.

If there were any real men in this "freedom convoy" there would be no bridge. Law abiding idiots are peacefully protesting against what?! Law fare creates our bondage and our willingness to obey keeps us in our chains. This is all the biggest joke ever. Eventually people's resources will run low. Of course the government will win this waiting game, and then come down with the legal hammer afterwards. Nothing meaningful will ever be accomplished. It's all so fucking hopeless.
