Everybody pays property tax - which pays for schools. Why do single/childless/empty nesters lose their say?
There is a "social contract" for taxes - something that people agree to for the "public good" but that doesn't mean that they give up their voice.
If I were a single home owner I would be screaming just as loudly for things to change.
