People around here are actually using this. They rub it into their feet and hands as a prophylactic, and when they suspect they have the jewflu or any other illness. I was at my local farm and home store two days ago. I got into a conversation with the owner about Ivermectin. I already knew they have been selling it like crazy off the shelf, but he told me that they are now shipping it all over the country. Mind you they are not actively promoting the stuff — people simply call up on the phone and place an order via credit card. He ships it out as soon as he gets some in stock. We all had it before it was even announced as a thing. It was pretty horrible, we were all sick and it just wouldn't stop. We were sick for well over a month, and the neighbors apparently were as well. The local hospital wanted to keep one of them for 'additional testing' [or so he claimed, idunno about that guy], and a cough lingered for another month. Our doctor was as unhelpful as ever.

About a month later, it was suddenly the end of the world and a plague was officially upon us [but we're pretty damned sure it had been here for quite some time already - but we get all these containers full of chinese crap in this harbor, so...]

I do think SAR-COV-2 is a real virus created in a lab in either Wuhan or Israel. I think the test showed a person with symptoms as positive and the second test from the same box showed another person without symptoms oe exposure as negative.
