Kenneth Branagh's Hercule Poirot is the best so far. I have checked all the other actors who played this character, and they all look like beta male morons. He is the only one who looks like a cool alpha male.

I refused to watch Branagh's version because he took too many liberties with Agatha Christie's novel. Watching the two characters, Branagh and his mustache, overact with no awareness of the times and everything exaggerated (like his mustache), was painful.
No, that movie was crap. The 1974 version with Albert Finney was a masterpiece. He exactly captured what the character of Poirot was about. Especially the mustache. Poirot was frequently described as being a "funny little man" who was fastidious in his habits and dress. Most people mistook him for a buffoon. Branagh's film had no subtlety.
Not a movie, but you are really missing out if you haven't seen David Shuche play Hercule for the A&E daytime series. It went like 15 seasons, some episodes are two hour movies.
I truly LOVED the show. Seen every episode twice in the last few years. It's like a time capsule to 1930's London.
