I always liked this movie (and the 90s damn those were good times) and this is a pretty sharp article about the movie predicted the dystopic timeline we're on now. The only thing that's missing is that all the restaurants are Taco Bell!

demolition man was based on "brave new world" and it makes clear references to it in the movie several times. i recall wesley snipes even says "it's a brave new world" when shooting at stalone

That's a stretch to say that movie mirrors society today. True, most people today are weak and stupid but the movie doesn't have trannies and child trannies running around. No interracial couples. Plus, white people are the main characters. Also, very few blacks and hispanics and like no asians in the movie. The movie portrays the white man being superior unlike today where movies do the exact opposite.

The 90s was still somewhat sane, but the door was cracked open to degeneracy. Being politically incorrect was a non issue. Fags knew their place. Blacks were not raised to superhero status like they are today. They were still tokens. Far less wetbacks unlike today where they are practically everywhere with their damn leaf blowers. They made original movies unlike the cookie cutter garbage today with the same unfunny jewish actors and lame talentless action heroes. Cell phones were only for talking if you even had one. The web was very new and none of this censorship garbage or big tech sites.

Pretty sure most fast food places are using the quality of meat Taco bell used in the 90s. Everyone but Taco Bell, whose quality has deteriorated by a similar amount.
