Medical THC weed is legal in about half of states. If you go by population, it's probably more than half because it's legal in CA, FL, and NY (I think). Texas is the big state where weed is completely illegal and any amount of concentrates is a felony. Lots and lots of people in TX jail for bits of hash.

CBD is legal in more than that.
