I was and am the only one allowed into the nursery due to "covid", was maskless during labor with my wife, she was as well. Was able to not have a mask on in the OR during an unexpected change. I could go on and on of all the exceptions, but my point is you don't just win more people over with honey, the honey has to be so sweet that is essentially an act of worship and offering into the heavens, it has to be a grand orchestra of your creation. You have to thread through the hearts of the people you encounter and cultivate in them thier willingness to help you to progress forward. I didn't stomp my feet around, make wild and technically true claims about rights and all that. I simply talked to them, made them laugh and feel heard, explained why the alternatives relative to their stance is important to me and deviance is not an option.
