Man I’m with you and I also agree a Twitter screen grab isn’t exactly evidence.
That said ottowa mayor and others have asked them for the last week to get involved and so far haven’t saying it’s a police issue. It would be fair to say they probably have a similar poling as the average Canadian.
Which is about 90% support in the rank and file.

An even better move would be to keep their job/power and simply refuse to arrest truckers or people supplying them. It's a lot more expensive to go through a full disciplinary process and fire someone than to have them quit and replace them.
