Nah, that'd tend to contaminate the containers. There's no guarantee of the cops confiscating them, no sense ruining good containers if they don't.

The police are leaning on two things to confiscate from people entering the city: purple gas from farm equipment and fuel for someone else's vehicle. Anyone who can prove they own a vehicle in the city that they are bringing fuel to cannot be stopped.

Regardless, a street level DDoS with empty jerry cans will be hilarious to watch. A lot of them have already stated they're there with the empty can to individually protest against high gas prices.

Mmm, I guess if the trucks run out of fuel the drivers won't be able to blow their horns, and may have to leave them parked overnight while they go elsewhere.

Too bad the trucks and drivers also won't be able to make their deliveries or move their trucks out of the roadways.
