I like that statement. It sounds like a (significant) variant on this old saying: "Treat a whore like a lady and a lady like a whore." I don't agree with that one, but the idea from both is to treat a woman differently than how she is used to.
I don't believe there is genuine fear. Men don't go around beating women. There are a lot of protections against that.
It is simply a feeling of disgust. If it is a sexual advance that they don't want it disgusts them. And women are always put on a pedestal so they grow up self absorbed. Whatever their feelings are is reality. If they FEEL it's creepy then it must be. There must be something inherently wrong. And of course it's the man's fault when something is wrong.
The proof is in the fact that they absolutely love getting cat called by attractive men.
There is no objective measure of what is wrong. Approaching women in public is a normal part of meeting someone.
Women are afraid of men the same way men are afraid of bigger men. Sure, you can get attacked at any moment, especially around ghetto people, but no one is walking around afraid.
That's true, but it's also just odds and sexual dimorphism. If a dude were being catcalled every day and all the women wanted to put it in his butt, he'd get sick of it.
Women have such a high image of themselves that they consider most men beneath them, so catcalling is a drain on their self-image. Men are the opposite, so it's a boost.
My initial take after reading this is that it may be only an upper layer of the scheming onion. Katie probably figured this is a good excuse to apply her real motive: test her husband. This would explain why she posted her limited hangout online.
Then again, I kind of doubt the whole post. Who could get coworkers to waste their time doing this?
Women will basically only compliment a man they want to fuck (provided that is a possible dynamic in how they know each other). Men will compliment women just to do it and rarely expect anything from it.
People say it's because of the power differential blah blah blah but it's actually because women are just shitty communicators. Men are so rarely complimented in a real way by women that it's appreciated - this goes for all men, attractive or not. So for a woman a compliment is something that happens multiple times per day and is taken for granted. For the man, it's a much greater experience.
People don't want to be cat called by people they don't want to fuck.
Men will fuck anything that's not gross. It's natural for men because they can have many children at once.
Women can only have one child at a time so they are much more selective. They only want the best one they can get.
They don't want a bunch of slimy rat kikes crowing at them because they rather have Aryan Chad. Chads typically don't cat call because they are smoother than that.
