Seems like the border is federal though. Not sure if this is just something independent of the Ottowa protest or not. I suppose any movement is good. Ideally the truckers get what they want.

Ideally all the politicians who enabled this bullshit to continue and destroy peoples livelihoods would feel some rope against their necks. Or if that's just too mean for folks, have all these politicians, police chiefs, school boards and corporate entities that worked in lockstep with each other to enslave the general population for their own profit; Have them lose all their money, properties, pensions and other belongings. Make sure they all lose the ability to travel outside Canada so they can't get wired cash from their corrupt associates. Have their access to any form of transportation be removed(cars,boats,planes etc) since many were for limiting Canadians travel. Finally make these criminals, tyrants and psychopaths make up for the money that they lost by having them do the most menial, mundane jobs. Have them working minimum wage cleaning up shit, picking up garbage, greeting people as they enter a walmart until they have worked enough to repair the damage they have wrought.

If the mandates are lifted, then what? Do the truckers go home? Are they holding out for further progress? If not, then what is to stop the gov from reinstating mandates some time in the near future? The gov has gained all this power, and they know that the vast majority of people will just roll over and take it up the ass, so are we really to expect them to give up permanently because of a road block?
