I never wanted one in my toaster or any other appliance. They ran out because they wasted them.
The flush digital buttons are all going to stop working on my microwave, washing machine and every other appliance. The clock on the stove will stops telling the digital time just before a short in circuitry turns the oven on at random times.
The (((aliens))) are assholes and need to have a lot of loud country and western music aimed at their brain pans to make them explode.
Actually photo litho chip making factories exist in a lot of nations. If you're talking about 5 and 7nm process, yeah, they're in Taiwan. We paid for alot of that, we actually own a bit of the companies AND tech.
Wheres the Next 5 and 7nm process plant being built? In America.
Lol... This is so full of fail, even for 4chan. There are chip fabs all over the world. We have several in the US. I have friends that work in an Intel fab. In University I had an internship proofing mask layouts for ICs with a fairly well know chip manufacturer. This post just shows that they do not know what they are talking about
There are people who can do this at home with rather basic equipment. Sam Zeloof is probably the most advanced DIY chipmaker in the world today, but Jeri Ellsworth has also made DIY transistors and simple integrated circuits at home as well. While it takes some time and effort and significant equipment changes to do a who microprocessor, I don't think we're that far off of homemade microcontroller CPUs and other more advanced devices. Check out this video to see Sam's latest DIY chip.

Yes it is far from x86 architecture, but for a single man doing this in his home fab, this is far more than where we were when William Schockley was at the beginning of the integrated circuit revolution. We'll have to see how far Sam can take his development in the next few years so we can see just what kind of complexity can be built at home. This could be a revolution in home-built ASICs and we might even see tools developed that make this common. His maskless stepper exposure machine could be the catalyst just like 3D printers started a revolution on their own. The two technologies show what can happen when ordinary people can play in a realm that was previously inaccessible to them. I think this will lead to much innovation in the amateur electronics field.
I have a strange feeling that cpus and this high-end tech was gifted to us or shown to us/taught to us by some other entity. Alien or demon or whatever... not sure

Fake conspiracy theory is fake.

It's a theory a lot of normies will fall for though, it is black magic in a way like nukes.
