Beau Biden was a junior officer in a communications unit. He wasnt leading infantry in door to door urban fighting kicking down doors. just another case of officers awarding each other medals they didnt earn.

That's great, I have two with V devices. The Army handed out BSM's like candy. The fucking nigger cooks got BSM's and they never left the fucking FOB. Of course some shithead JAG lawyer POG who is the son of a long time politician would get one.

Also JAG lawyers are the assholes from law school who couldn't get a job at a civilian law firm. Reserve JAG lawyers like Beau Biden were the fuckers who couldn't cut it as civilian lawyers. Also he was the staff JAG in a fucking POG signal BDE, he basically spent his whole tour reviewing NJP's and chapter packages.

Let me help you with the Acronyms
BSM - Bronze Star Medal - Obvious from the post.
Nigger Cooks - Military enlisted members who were too stupid to get a job with Haliburton.
FOB - Forward Operating Base - a negative 11 star accommodation made of CHU's and sandbags. Situated in a
pastoral setting that made you glad when you got back mostly intact. CHU's are an upgrade
subject to availability.
CHU - Container Housing Unit - A Shipping container. Someone sold the government on the idea that these were shelters.
JAG - Judge Advocate General - lawyers worse than public defenders in Compton. They will fuck your corpse and expect
you to say thanks.
POG - Person Other than Grunt - a JAG Lawyer is a POG and they are not happy about where they are and they blame the
person they are defending. This results in a highly motivated defense. POG's are also
contractors who brag about how much they are being paid to be there and are never seen
again when given a chance to leave.
BDE - Brigade - a place where you get a field grade article 15.

Or in the case of reserve JAG officers, I suck as a lawyer in the civilian world so I spend a month every year fucking over the average soldier.

JAG has nothing to do with civilian complaints. JAG is the legal arm of the Military and is involved with the UCMJ.

For civilian complaints aganist the Military the DOD has a Army of civilian lawyers to handle them.

I've been out of the Army for over ten years now. They occasionally did some good and prosecute scumbags in the ranks. Most of the time JAG exists to fuck over the rank and file.

After my grandad died, I found out that he got a Bronze Star. (WW2 Pacific Theatre) I asked my dad what he did to earn it, and he didn't know, because grandad never talked about it.

Of course that just makes you wonder even more, imagining him running through machine gun fire or something like that...

Then I heard that the Army gave them out to everyone who had the CIB or Combat Medical Badge. (grandad was an ambulance driver) Ernest Hemingway got one for being a writer. So he probably never talked about it, because he never felt like he really earned it, or felt like it was a meaningless decoration.

If he had a V device it means it was awarded for valor in a combat situation. Also personally I consider my CIB and EIB to be the most important decorations I have.

Can confirm. Was offered a higher medal in exchange for loyalty to certain politicians / an endorsement of them. Was offered a career in politics if I held their party line. I did not accept. I'm on their harassment list for life.

THe bronze star could be called the dirt clod. Awarded to dog's to keep them quiet about their "Service". THink that they are included. It's worth EXACTLY as much as a dirt clod. YOu get a bag of "bronze stars", you have exactly that. NOTHING more.
