In Game theory terms, they are hawks, they depend on having the other side play dove by trying to cooperate, only to destroy their enemy by competing.

They advocate for freedom only as a way to get the other party to give themselves the opportunity to enslave the enemy.

Look at it in terms of game theory, and their strategy makes sense.

Hawks win by eating doves and weaker hawks.
Doves win by cooperating with other doves.


The last thing a hawk wants is to fight against a stronger hawk, because they get eaten by them under such circumstances.

As the left is weak, they depend on the right only playing dove, if the right plays hawk as well, they win.

So what do the left do? They pretend to play dove such thst the right will play dove, but in actuality the left are playing hawk, and this is how the left consistently eats the right up, because the right is tricked into playing dove in each matchup.

They advocate for dove philosophies while practicing hawk philosophy, which is indistinguishable from dove unless the player is stronger than the other party.
