Same politics. Same enemies. Same sense of humor. Hated by the same people. Nearly same site structure. Hell, half the posts are identical.
Yet somehow, in a world full of reddits and twitters and corporate media orgs, we're going to promote animosity between these two tiny sites because some admin hurt your feelings. I can't tell if these posts are astroturfed animosity, or if you all are actual morons.
Let me say first that I had been on Poal since near the beginning, way before the voat migration. I loved poal for how much more civil it was. On old-voat if you dared to say some opinion that didn't agree with the hive-mind spergs would send the downvote bots after you. People would get downvoted for saying "thank you" it was ridiculous.
I think (sincerely with respect) that you've been fooled in exacty the same way I was. Because what you say is partially true. I cought green account downvotespamming some people b/c he disagreed with them. then he lied about it b/c he didn't know that other accounts could tell who downvoted.
The problem is that aou uses these legitimate bad actors as cover for his malfeasance. Look at what he did to @postwallhelena ? or CognitiveDissionance5 ? or @Ruck_Feddit or @dulcima ? or Warf-Motorboats-Troy etc etc i could go on. Some goats I had known for years who just didn't strike me as the type.
At first i took his word for it. Then I started to notice high quality users (like the ones i mentioned) and asked him about it. "oh, they went downvote crazy". All the people I asked about it said only a few things; they asked "what did i do?" and the reply is always the same "you know" or "lol".
The Tl;Dr is this- You have to think that either aou is lying or DOZENS of old goats who aren't spergs, who post decent content and dont troll all suddenly decided to act in bad faith. which is more likely?
