I don't get the adoration for this guy. Is it because he piloted with no training? or he didn't hurt anyone? I just don't get it. I guess he at least lived out a life dream.

He also performed a maneuver that not only had never been performed in that model of aircraft before but was never even attempted because it was theoretically impossible according to the physics models.
