No one wants to take the position because they know they'll be subject to a financial audit which will reveal the obvious. The standard operating procedure for leftist corruption like this is to be in charge of the financial strings of the organization and direct the spending to organizations you work for or your family owns and operates. You overpay them and they pay you for your services. It's a legal kickback, and there's usually illegal ones, too.
