This is setting a narrative. The power grid is going to start going down at an increasing rate. This op is intended to deflect normie outcry from the JWO to those 'evil, right-wing, nationalist, White supremacists'.
I doubt it's going to have the intended effect, however. As more people wake up to the bullshit these 'incidents' will only accelerate the process.
Title says they predict attacks from certain persons. Article says 4 arrested and charged in 2020 with the intent to commit an offence.
If they are certain there are more people that are intending to commit an offence, why have they not arrested and charged them like the afore mentioned 4 men?
Are staged power outages incoming, which will be blamed on "White Supremacists"?
Intent to commit a crime like how Hillary blatantly deleting those emails had no intent behind it therefore she's innocent? Funny how their judgement on intent only seems to favor one side. Actual insurrection when?
People that genuinely think the possibility of this is all made up false flag BS are very ignorant people. By now if you're posting in a place like this there is no excuse for not knowing about Siege, the Siege network on Telegram, or things like Iron March, Atomwaffen, The Base, or broader accelerationism.
Well the blacks are too stupid, but they MIGHT if they can accept the casualties, course they'd have to answer to their mom's. Other than that, I'd say you can rule out the whites too (WANT stuff, not absence of stuff).
You have to admit though, right wing people would be unequivocally better prepared for an electricity free period. People who prize self sufficiency always do better in a disaster scenario.
In the long term consider finding/building an ammonia evaporation freezer. Those can be powered directly with firewood. I want to build one myself. You could also power it with methane from your slurry.
The butane ones are alright, we've one of those and it seems to work well. They last for quite a long time on fuel too. The next step for those is to put them under ground a little ways to shield them from heat as best as we can to preserve fuel levels and the overall effort required by the system.
Getter a more solid power source is one of the goals. We bought land on the shady side of the mountain, and suffer the consequences of it. There is at least a 3-season creek nearby which we can get some water from via ram pumps. I read about storing excess water as a pool of kinetic energy, so that'll be a fun project to convert it back into electricity via a small turbine.

Yes. My personal plan is to build a three story icehouse with around a foot or two of insulation. First story is aboveground and stores the hot end of the refridgeration plant. First basement level is a cooler, second basement level is a freezer. With that much insulation and protection from the elements it would probably take weeks to defrost even if the plant broke down for some reason.

Are you growing firewood? Consider making willow or hazel coppices. They mature in a year or two and after that you'll have an annual crop of firewood, which means your heating and water heating are sorted. That's usually the majority of any household's bill.

I'm thinking along similar lines. Pumped hydro is the way national grids store power, most countries have some. It's easily the cheapest battery out there and very cheap to add additional capacity. If you live on a mountainside there's huge potential energy and aside from storage you can also havest energy by catching rainfall.
Just be careful your local water rights allow for it: Some people have gotten fines out the ass for building a pond without permission in places like Oregon.
How far have you gotten in terms of waterwheel design?

There's going to be massive power shortages and rationing soon.

I think you can also get gas powered refridgerators for off-grid homes that run off butane.
