Ottawadude just stickied my post and i don't see it on the front page anymore... or am I drunk?

This was a big problem on similar sites. Sticky posts have more visibility and get more upvotes. Many people abused this to manipulate the front page. Hiding stickies has a purpose.

I can understand that on reddit but imo it's unjustifiable on this site with the traffi it has, it just censors content from the front page.
