Oh, trippy. Because they sounds like birds!

The first one sounded like he was going for jingle bells.

A little disappointed it stopped short.

Same thought.

Those're genuinely amazing. I want someone to make one out of glass so we can see how they work.

Edit: I just remembered, I had a ceramic bird whistle like this as a kid. You filled it up with water and blew into it and it'd make a chirping sound.

They sound like a container that comes with the videogame sound effect built in, like some old RPG. The wizard who never leaves the inn used a potion to restore your health. chirp chirp.

Dumb as shit teepee rats didn't invent fuck all but toothless smiles, intolerable body odors and bloated welfare roles. Those are leftover artifacts from advanced S.A.N.E people who've been trekking the earth for 25,000 years. Indians are as worthless as mud monkeys.

Well, that beats the shit out of anything niggers invented. Look what my people invented.

That's very cool. I played The Pines of Rome by Respighi many years ago and got to play one of these: https://www.musiciansfriend.com/folk-traditional-instruments/acme-whistles-bird-whistle

But I have never seen anything like this. Really neat, thanks for sharing!

For some reason that links to a drum stand.

Did you mean something like this disturbing thing?: https://www.musichouseshop.com/store/Whistle-CrowCall.html

No but that is cool! The link works for me... It was a little cylindrical whistle that you fill up with water and then blow into and it sounds like a nightingale. I had to go fill it in the water fountain before rehearsals and I thought that was really neat.

They were all starving until the redheaded "god" with a beard taught them everything.

Holy shit. That is fucking amazing. The skill to produce the sounds. Fantastic.

[ - ] mattsixteen24 0 points 3.3 yearsJan 25, 2022 21:40:35 ago (+0/-0)

That last one was pretty good. It could do a few different sounds.

I'm sure some Inca sat around cutting off bird's heads and played with them to figure out how they make those sounds.

Romans made these 2000 years ago.

If 90% of the best and brightest weren't genocided by Europeans in the 16thce, some of the spics today might even be the equivalent of some Asians.

[ - ] KeepPoal4fags 4 points 3.3 yearsJan 26, 2022 00:20:41 ago (+4/-0)

It's not as if Europeans sifted through the lot and selected which ones died of pox. Europeans survived much worse and still outperformed every other race.

[ - ] CPU 0 points 3.3 yearsJan 25, 2022 23:32:11 ago (+0/-0)

They genocided themselves too.

[ - ] solomonpapermaster 0 points 3.3 yearsJan 26, 2022 09:10:35 ago (+0/-0)*

They weren't genocided, they died of smallpox. Back then people didn't really understand how decease transmission worked, it was not done on purpose.

Excellent.

That's pretty cool. It's sort of sad that the Native Americans were the last on the developmental chain to form a agricultural society. It's interesting to see how many of our cultures must have been 10K+ years ago.

If you really hate someone you can buy one of those and give it to their small child as a "gift"
