Good point. Cold climates drive females to become more dependent on males for food resources i.e. meat. Therefore males require higher levels of sexual fidelity from females in exchange for higher resource contributions. Males tend to limit their mates and offspring to a supportable number, usually one mate and one set of children.

The monogamous regime that results lowers male sexual competition as each male can theoretically be assigned one female. Male competition switches from intrasexual violence to intersexual productivity and from a quantity-over-quality strategy of reproduction to a quality-over-quantity one. Males pursue a higher quality of female and invest a higher quality of parenting per offspring.

Polygamy favors males as fucking and fighting machines. Monogamy elevates males to economically productive workers with traits that females favor like being chivalrous and being good with kids. Female preference becomes very powerful in monogamy. You could argue that white men are more caring and hardworking because thats the way white women like them..

Everywhere polygamy exists you will see men trying to out-fuck, out-murder, out-steal, and out-trick each other to hoard more uteruses. Its the cause of corruption and violence everywhere. Evolution is real.

Well this is a process that happened over tens of thousands of years as groups of northern eurasian hunter gatherers became more reliant on males for meat leading to monogamy and patrilineality.

Negroes living in detroit for 4 generations on welfare does not recreate the conditions of northern eurasians in the paleolithic. But enforced monogamy in which males controlled the majority of the wealth might create a similar evolutionary pressure. I also think we should probably limit wealth accumulation.

Not only do I believe that long cold winters have bred more conservative societies but I think that cold climate societies that migrate in to warmer regions frequently fall into polygamous ways again and become more violent and non-productive: native americans, middle easterners, SE asians.
High IQ and conservative strategies have a massive correlation to distance from the equator. But these trends don’t shift overnight.
