He can run for president of the moon with all the other cabal members when we launch them all into space. We should give them one year worth of supplies and set up cameras so we can watch them kill each other.
It was bullshit from the start and as someone who has read the Constitution I cried foul immediately but most of you "conservative" cucks wouldn't listen because he looked like one of you.
It got so bad during the primaries I was pulling my hair out. The media called him out on his Canadian birth and his citizenship so he renounced it. Then everyone preceded to pretend that the Constitution doesn't say what it does or that it doesn't mean that. Basically what everyone does when they disagree with the Constitution and want things they are not allowed to have.
We have been skirting the document for decades, if not a century, now. READ IT. And not just the parts you agree with. Read and understand it.
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
Historically, a natural born citizen is one who is born on it's countries soil and can have NO OTHER ALLEGIENCE to another.
When the Constitution was drafted the Founders were concerned that a puppet of England, or another country, could be elected to the Office of President and weaken the republic. He could then simply skate off to his other country and not face any repercussions. Think Benedict Arnold. Which is why that name is synonymous with being a traitor to this day.
The wording even sort of explains this to you. "except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution". What this means is that on the day the Constitution was signed everyone became a citizen of the US.
Our early country would need presidents in the future and the number of eligible and willing applicants would be less had they not included that clause. Besides, imagine a british citizen who had just finished fighting a war of independence not being allowed to run for the highest office that represents it? That would be a crime.
The clause naturally fades itself out, which was the intention of it.
It's more complicated than this but then again, it's not. Not really.
