Civil war is when the populace kills each other in an attempt to control the government, but the government doesn't really change. Revolutionary war is when the populace is more or less united in overthrowing the government in an attempt to form a different government. A successful revolutionary war, however, oftentimes leads to a civil war because the victors can't come to an agreement about what kind of new government to create.
And as long as we're on the topic, the US did not have a revolutionary war at it's founding. (Otherwise the monarch in England would have fallen.) It was a war of independence or war of secession. That is why July 4th is celebrated as "Independence Day" and not 'Revolution Day'. Also, the US did not have a Civil War in the 1800s. That was a war of succession, or a war for independence — depending on which side you view it from.
Of course, all wars are (((banker's wars))) so it really doesn't matter who wins if the jews remain in control.
The way I see it is revolutionary wars are the people deposing of the government. Civil wars are more like 2 factions are formed and they battle for dominance.
But you're right, revolutionary wars often end up in civil wars and disaster.
