I am shocked. I went to UChicago for my PhD and had to leave after two semesters because my classmates didn't like me questioning why, when we were asked to pick people to speak at a conference, my advisor wanted to make sure we picked more women than men.

This devolved into a huge ordeal with my classmates narcing on me, an eventual tribunal in which I was treated like a sub human, and my eventual departure from academia.

Jokes on them, now I make 6 figures while they still are making a measly 30k a year
