My employer sent out a vaccine status questionnaire

submitted by MasklessTheGreat to whatever 2.3 yearsJan 12, 2022 15:20:37 ago (+30/-0)     (whatever)

The questionnaire says that per OSHA rule blah blah blah, we are required to get your vaccine status. In the very next paragraph it’s says to not give medical, genetic or religious information. Uhh, WTF?! Anyway, it gives five options: had the booster, only two vaccines, only one, not getting it for religion or not getting it because I don’t want to. Pick one and check the box then print and sign.

Ok so give you medical or possible religious information when you also say don’t. Yeah, how about FUCK YOU. I will not fill out and turn in that form. We will see if they terminate me. Dirty little secret is that I have already lined up a better opportunity and am going to fuck right off no matter what happens. If these asshats will let an alphabet agency force then to violate state and federal laws that state they can’t ask that question then I don’t want to work for them.

When will you draw a line in the sand?

Edit: I will be informing them that this questionnaire is my reason for leaving.

Don't respond.

My plan is to throw it away right in front of the HR lady as soon as she gives it to me today. Some of us haven’t gotten them yet but we already have seen them. Glad to have another job lined up. Damn it feels good to be a gangsta.

Play by another set of rules. Bingo.

[ - ] ForgottenMemes 4 points 2.3 yearsJan 12, 2022 19:48:25 ago (+4/-0)

Dont quit, don't throw a tantrum, don't make a grand display. Ignore it. If directly asked why you didn't respond to the form say "I'm not going to." If they directly demand you respond just say "No."

Make them fire you.

If somewhere down the line there is a lawsuit or other action you'll be in a good position to benefit.

Don't turn it in but don't flaunt it either. If you can, stick around long enough for them to fire you over your refusal to give them medical and religious information. Then start a lawsuit along with your new job.

I had an employer hand me a paper granting them the right to search me and my personal vehicle ON OR OFF the premises.

The first one I just shitcanned. The second time the manager personally handed me a copy and asked me to sign.

I told him Id have my attoeney look at it. left. shit canned it. And never heard another word.

They know what the fuck they are doing with shit like that. Getting people to give up their rights by making them think they company can actually do that shit.

The Mrs. got this a few days ago. Thankfully they offer an exemption to those that work 100% remote; she is one of them. On a side note; since everyone is entered into a database when they receive the jab, (((they))) already know who has it and who does not. This world...

I got the same form.

I picked ‘not getting it for religious reasons’.

My buddy at the same company ignored it and didn’t answer.

I got a follow up two weeks later giving instructions on how and when to file a religious exemption. I ignored that and didn’t do anything. Figure at least it will confuse them. Whatever.

My buddy received no follow up.

So I guess we’ll see what happens.

We work for one of the largest tech companies.

Buddy says if even 5% of the workforce doesn’t comply, the company will drop it as they can’t afford to fire that many people. They’re having a hard enough time hiring enough people now.

This situation calls for your best 'Jeff Spicoli' impression,What? Where?

Religion? Sounds like a TRAP (from godless athiests who are smirking in their stupid minds).

One of the guys called his attorney and was advised that we have rights not to give that information and if you sign it then you give up any rights you have if you were to bring them to court over them violating those rights. So basically we don’t sign. However, he did say that we could be terminated for not signing. Any legal battle would most likely cost a fortune but we’d still be covered if we don’t sign. I can’t afford to fight it though and I know the courts probably aren’t on my side anyway.

Same happened to me. Same exact 5 options.

After that was done, the next month, it was, "Last chance, if you don't answer, you WILL BE CONSIDERED UNVACCINATED AND WILL TREATED AS SUCH!"

LOL, Ok.

The winning move is to not play.

assuming you're in the US this is a huge HIPAA violation. Your medical status is not information an employer can ask for.

[ - ] cyclops1771 1 point 2.3 yearsJan 12, 2022 20:09:43 ago (+1/-0)

this is a huge HIPAA violation.

uh, not its not.

Your medical status is not information an employer can ask for.

They most certainly can, and do all the time. Ever heard of "getting a doctor's clearance to return to work?" Same thing. They can ask all kinds of qualifying questions about your health, because, by law (ADA), they need to be able to accommodate people with disabilities, mental of physical.

[ - ] uvulectomy 0 points 2.3 yearsJan 13, 2022 02:24:11 ago (+0/-0)

They can ask all they want, but you're under no obligation to respond. What they can't do is divulge any information without your explicit consent. One could successfully argue that providing them with your medical information could lead to just such an instance as they, not being a medical office, would not have policies in place to reasonably prevent such disclosures.

there is nothing in anyone's employment contract that requires irreversible medical procedures or injecting poison into your body, and regardless of how the supreme cucks rule, mandates are NOT legal

[ - ] natehiggers 1 point 2.3 yearsJan 12, 2022 15:29:07 ago (+1/-0)

Use it as tolietpaper

[ - ] KyleIsThisTall 4 points 2.3 yearsJan 12, 2022 19:06:34 ago (+4/-0)

No, save it as evidence for a class action lawsuit.

Burn it, it will scrap you ass.

[ - ] Native 0 points 2.3 yearsJan 13, 2022 14:14:15 ago (+0/-0)

Ignore the questionaire, if they ask you again say you are busy and will get back to it. Don’t quit your job. Look for another one first. Keep ignoring it

[ - ] carnold03 0 points 2.3 yearsJan 13, 2022 00:08:22 ago (+0/-0)

Meh, that you received this means you now know who the enemy is with certainty. Just update your resume and start shopping around for a new employer or focus that mental energy in getting your business off the ground.

[ - ] MasklessTheGreat [op] 0 points 2.3 yearsJan 13, 2022 05:09:30 ago (+0/-0)

I’m putting in a 2 weeks notice no matter what. I’m literally going to get this next business off the ground. Going back to flight instruction.

[ - ] carnold03 0 points 2.3 yearsJan 13, 2022 07:14:20 ago (+0/-0)

I'd simply ignore their requests for compliance with the flu vaxx, focus my energy into updating my resume, shop around for a new employer not in the vaxx cult, or get my business off the ground, and calmly take my things home, so I don't have to worry about being escorted by security guards with a cardboard box in my arms when they get around to firing me. If they fire me, I get a few weeks/months of unemployment, which I can use to develop my business, but otherwise, I wouldn't respond to any of this vaxx crap.

[ - ] x0x7 0 points 2.3 yearsJan 12, 2022 23:10:47 ago (+0/-0)

Don't fill it out. That's what I did at my work place and the workers have turned the tide as a result. Don't defy. Ignore.

[ - ] FalseRealityCheck 0 points 2.3 yearsJan 12, 2022 22:54:12 ago (+0/-0)

Don't submit the form. Politely tell them you will, but don't submit it. Make the fuckers uncomfortable and jump through every hoop to try to get you to comply. Just keep feigning like you will comply, but never do.

Remember, these people are trained monkeys who would eat their own shit if it means social acceptance. They are not human.

Dance, monkeys, dance....

[ - ] NumbDigger 0 points 2.3 yearsJan 12, 2022 21:44:03 ago (+0/-0)

If they fire you, you may get severance pay.
