Weed is pissing me off

Smoked weed for years. Used to be fun. Started being harder on my esophagus than it got me high. I switched to wax which is like the crack of weed. Much better on throat but my new weed crack pipe broke after one use and now I'm wondering if this has gone too far. So now I gotta spend more time and money to get my weed crack pipe replaced. I use it to get work done but lately 75% of the time I get high it goes bad for one reason or another and I'm starting to see almost zero net benefit. Their ads/products scream sci Fi dystopia (if continuous pleasure and sedation to the point that you do nothing is your idea of hell.).

Never quit a drug out of spite before but there's a first time for everything.

Weed is like booze, psychedelics or anything else....there is a difference between use and abuse....the line that separates the two is self-control. You either control the drug, or the drug controls you. Every addict is a drug user, but not every drug user is an addict, irregardless of what the retards at Partnership for a Drug-Free America want you to believe. If you can't stop at one or two martinis after work, and have to finish the bottle, that is your clue to either find some willpower or quit the booze.

Yes, it is. You go through hell during the first two months, but then suddenly you wake up one day and you feel incredible and you realize you don’t need it anymore. You sleep better (for real, you don’t realize that when you’re constantly smoking you lack rem sleep, which is bad for you), you feel more rested, and you wake up energized each day.

Tell you what fren, after 20 years smoking every day (very light smoker for most of that time) I quit out of spite. I was tired of having to deal with arabs and giving them my money. Look into a Shatterizer. You load it up and cap it so its similar to a vape pen.

If you consume to fix ailments, wouldn't just quit cold turkey.

If you live in a legal state, consider vape carts. Same premise as dabs, but they are in disposable cartridges attached to a battery. Usually doesn't clog and the smell is not nearly as offensive.

For all the weed hate, it is keeping me off opioids. Multiple spinal fusions and nerve damage is no fun.

EDIT: if you know which strains have helped you in the past, there's a chance you can figure out which terpenes will help you the most. Terpenes can come from not weed (black pepper, pine, mint) so you can get some of the benefits without the weed.

I use it to level out my anger. I'm taking a short break from smoking at the moment and I actually find I sleep better now. Still have to deal with my anger at the world internally now, but the sleep is way better. I actually get naturally tired when it gets dark and as soon as I take more than a couple of steps to go pee at night, I wake up with tons of energy.

I'll probably start back up after my planned break, but it will likely be a more daytime thing for me. Weed helps me hide my power level, which is important since I don't sign my own pay checks.

There's always more benefits to quitting, but you're having problems due to lack of filtration. Wax leaves just as much residue behind as burning smoke from igniting cannabis. If you want to protect your lungs, quit being cheap and spend some money on a good pipe with a strong perk. If you want my personal recommendation, look up the Boom Felazi series of pipes. In the meantime, I'd use the opportunity to cut down on the smoking as much as possible.

Lastly I can help you quit. Switch to CBD flower, It is way more beneficial to your health and body. It also doesn't get you high.. Still looks and tastes exactly like regular flowers. Just give you slight relaxation.

You keep doing it every day and the negative side effects build up along with your tolerance so it takes more to get high.
