Before Full House he was known for raunchy degenerate "comedy" stand-up shows.

Hard to tell whether he was serious or not because he "joked" about so much in such a disgusting manner. This is from the article helpfully provided by HonkyMcNiggerSpic:

Incidentally, the article publicizes a 2005 movie by Penn Jillette and Paul Provenza called "The Aristocrats", documenting the most offensive joke in the US. Jillette -- that's another garbage human being.
