I cannot see anything from catbox (90% of voat) for the last two days. How fix?

submitted by Aze to whatever 2.2 years ago (+4/-0)     (whatever)

I've tried two browsers and my phone with no luck. I assume it's either down on their end (I'd expect it to be fixed by now) or it's being blocked somehow because it has memes that aren't kike approved.

The error looks like this, but it's for catbox obviously.
https://user-media-prod-cdn.itsre-sumo.mozilla.net/uploads/gallery/images/2018-06-22-05-51-46-a35712.png

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I fixed it. Not exactly sure how, but I think it may be because I copy pasted files.catbox.moe into my address bar (this take you to catbox's home page), and I was given a warning that it maybe an unsafe site. I clicked take me in anyway and it now works for all links I've tried.

This was a complete accident.

Edit 2: Not completely fixed. Seems every time I close my browser or have all catbox links closed for a while the problem returns. If I copy paste files.catbox.moe to my address bar and leave that homepage window open I can then load whatever catbox links I like. There hasn't been any warning or confirmation page since the first time.

All this is very strange.

For some reason every catbox link @jewsbadnews posts won’t open on my iPad.

because your faggot ipad forces every browser to use safari webkit which doesn't support certain codecs, containers, and file formats.

Rinse the jizz out of your eyes and try again.

My friend recently told me he cannot access my catbox links. He discovered that Comcast Infinity was blocking the links. If he took his phone off WiFi and just used T-Mobile, the links loaded right up on his phone.

#1. get off of windows 7 you fucktard. If you insist on using Windows 7, get an 0patch license.

#2. use a different dns server https://adguard-dns.com/en/public-dns.html (method 2, don't be an app faggot)

I'm not having issues. Your ISP may be blocking catbox, possibly due to local laws. Try using a VPN, or some form of onion routing.

US, Indiana. It is hard to believe my ISP cares about catbox, and if they do then everyone would have the same problem, since I'm using the same shit ISP as everyone else.

That's not the problem then. I live in Oregon, so if any ISPs in any states were going to block catbox, I would be the first to know.

I've tried two browsers and my phone with no luck.
What are the two browsers you've tried? After quickly searching the error, it appears there is a known sporadic issue where Firefox does this.
