In my town and county in general there is a massive alcohol problem and large drug issue and I'm not talking just weed or even coke or acid, it's valium and benzos.

It shouldn't even require some empirical evidence, like we need to run this experiment at the level of nation-states and see what happens.

People control who enters their businesses. People control who joins their clubs. People control who is allowed in their homes. They decide about who will be at weddings and holidays and any form of gettogether.

That all of these practical considerations could be relevant for every kind of organization in a country, but would fail to be relevant at the level of the whole country, is pure fucking stupidity.

Ask someone if they leave the doors to their home open at all times, for any under-privileged person with a dream to come use their home, and its beds, and its bathrooms and eat their groceries and interact with their children unsupervised.
