It depends on what model you want to look at the situation with. In terms of history and classics, you're going to study the changes that take place in the Norse literature in the middle ages according to the preserved evidence you have for various redactions of the same text over time. You can pretty reliably trace when new material enters long-lived stories. The Bible for example is a compilation with many redactions. The Epic of Gilgamesh had many redactions through history. Each one sees changes, so through this lens you're looking at history.

It seems like you are wanting to look at it through a comparative religious lens, which would look for similar archetypes across systems. Ragnarok has many differences from the Christian eschaton. The death of many gods being one of those. It has more to do with a general form of world ending, god death, and resurrection. The idea that God would die and become resurrected to mark the end of the world or the apocalypse was not really an indo-european idea. But similar ideas do feature in Abrahamic religion with its end of days.

If what you're asking is whether the idea entered Norse independently, I highly doubt it. If you are suggesting that maybe the pagans always had an idea like that, and so did Christianity, and both are just pale reflections of the same truth? Maybe. That's going to be almost impossible to prove, but it could be.

I didn't say European civilization. I pointed to a very important Norse mythical event that was most likely absorbed into it because of Christianity.

But the Christian God is not Jewish. That God incarnated in a human form born into a Jewish society, which just so happened to be at a cultural nexus of the era, between Egypt and Greece and Persia. Jesus fundamentally altered history and Judaism. Judaism changed after Jesus. The Jews after Christ were not the same Jews as before Christ.

I explained to you a couple of days ago why it is stupid to believe the Jews invented Christianity, but you didn't want to listen. It's funny, you know, how Jews are so hellbent on destroying Christianity today. You know what makes a lot more sense than trying to destroy a religion 2,000 years later after it has launched the West (as we know it) and gained over a billion followers? Not inventing it in the first place. Right?

Jesus was remarkably disruptive to Jewish society. He came in overturning the tables of the money lenders at Passover. That's a time when the Romans would have already been on alert because the Jews get antsy around that time. Jesus was not a friend to the Jewish establishment, and after His death, the Jews basically defined themselves on the basis of their hatred of the Christ.

Your story doesn't make sense and you should abandon it.
