Your correct it the cheaper yarn, but I'm still pretty new to knitting still working on getting my skills up before getting good yarn

That's really fkn tidy work already. Try some NZ/AUS possum fur yarn. The stuff is way warmer and softer than wool even and very little itching. Bundle up in that shit and you feel like a king.
