Rameses II is most likely the Pharoah of Moses. God preserved his body for posterity. He made himself an idol besides the Egyptian idols, and made his subjects call him their "god most high".
All of the giant monuments, besides the pyramids, that you think of when you think of Egypt (temple Luxor etc), were monuments meant to praise him, constructed under his order.
God says that Pharoah tried to make repentance as he died (drowned by the Red Sea), and that God rejected it.
This isn't a man to look up to.
Here is a man to look up to. He is one of the most famous scholars of Islam. Growing up, he was called "blondie" in Arabic. He had green eyes and blond hair. His name was Imam Malik.
He memorized the entire Quran and 100,000 narrations of the Prophet Muhammad (s). His namesake school of Islamic jurisprudence is one of four schools traditionally followed by orthodox Muslims.
