I read that too. I can't imagine that life. Just had life throw a few thousand dollars of bullshit my way. Out of pocket and move on with my life until more bullshit comes up and repeat. What the fuck would I do if I couldn't pay? Take a loan and eat shit until I die?

Yup. Credit cards and payday loans. Buy here pay here used car lots. All with insane interest rates. The more broke you are, the more expensive life gets. Hell.

And when you're not in the shit credit cards literally pay you. Took a Sapphire Preferred card earlier this year, $1250 back for $4000 spent. Free fucking money. Took another one when I was done with sapphire, $300 for spending $1500, and don't have to pay it for 15 months as my money sits in a high interest cd. Made a bank account with Chase and they gave me $750. I closed it and will repeat in 2 years. Of course, everything is paid on time. I'd like to say I'm jewing the jews but they literally don't care as all the people they jew overwhelm whatever I'm doing a million fold.

I do the same exact thing. Pay huge business debts monthly with card, get tons of points. Pay bill at end of month. No interest ever. They pay me to use their card. Of course, they get paid by the retailers who pay 2-3% to accept the cards.

When I moved last year I opened a couple new bank accounts in the area for the incentives- ended up completely covering the cost of the movers. They probably count on most people forgetting to close the account later and/or fucking up the incentive requirements- it did involve some creative direct deposit scheduling.
