Why does the page refresh everytime I try to upvoat?

It's so annoying. I try to upvoat and the gay ass page refreshes and my upvoat is gone.

Too bad it doesn't work right!

...I had that problem frequently until I upgraded from dsl to fiber. It's not done that here since then. It does it a lot at the marina where the wifi is incredibly shite.

It refreshes as well when you click "save". It is very gay because it does it so fast that I've accidentally hit the hide button instead. I'm bookmarking things instead.

I get the same thing too. Every time I reload or comment, the page refreshes. Just be patient. I'm not a Web programmer, so I don't know what's behind it all, but I'm just grateful to be here. Give it time, let the site do what it needs to do.

Someone mentioned this earlier and it fixed it for me. Wait until the page has completely loaded, then do it. Everytime I did it before the page loaded, that would happen.

Nothing to do with impatience. It didn't load like this before. The way it loads seems like it's making repeated requests to the server for every comment. That's got to drive up hosting costs. I like to see a place run efficiently because it's more likely to stay around and be affordable.
