When I was a kid in the 80s, everyone made fun of jews. We'd throw pennies at them and shit. I never even heard of the alleged Holocaust until years later, when they forced us to read Otto Frank's novel in middle school.

I would like to know who popularized forcing teens to request permission before urinating. Not even cattle is subjected to that.
In the past I kept telling myself there are reasonable non malicious reasons for various idiocy.
