Its amazing to me how these world altering decisions get left up to chance. Out of all the judges on the sixth circuit three were chosen by lottery with ping pong balls in a hundred year old rotary... our future is decided by ping pong balls... fucking madness.

I don't think it matters at this point. The supreme court is only relevant in a government that is administered by adherence to law. That is clearly not what the US is. Conservative, and by that, I mean White, states need to consolidate and then expel the invaders like 15th century spain.
