Sympathetic propaganda campaign for a piece of shit

I'm in Ecuador. This story is being blasted all over social media/news etc.. More Latinos know about this story than Americans. This fucking scumbag was most likely illegal, driving 85 mph (how the fuck, trucks should be governed under 65). He should have been going 55mph on i70 in Colorado. I don't need to dig up his past because i can already predict it, and the fact that the media doesn't mention anything about his legal status, criminal record etc.., says enough. Latinos drive like idiots everywhere. Just like here in Ecuador. They don't fucking belong in our country and they don't have the skill or respect for our modern system. They shouldn't be on our highways. The thing that really pisses me off is the fact that, if this was me or anyone else, nobody would ever hear about it. We would be buried under the prison and there would be no media campaign to appeal to every white person in the world. I hope this piece of shit gets raped by niggers in prison until he's dead.

Btw, I'm a diesel/heavy truck mechanic. Brakes don't fucking fail. There's at least 4 spring brake chambers between the truck and the trailer. Unless they were all caged for some stupid reason (highly unlikely) then there's no possible way he was going this fast because of brake failure. Plus dot in Colorado is literally the transportation gestapo. This story is mostly bullshit. How the fuck he was going 85 is already a big fucking mystery. Now, i would like to see his past, criminal record, his social media, etc.. not just a couple photos of him kissing his girl. 100% this turd was illegal, working under the table, not paying taxes, probably smuggling in more cuban scum, drugs, money, etc.. hey media, why don't you tell the whole story. I'm sure the autistic anons could dig it up. Pull his inventory and post it everywhere. Fuck this piece of shit.

Yes. This. Like i said, there is a mountain of evidence in front of this event, and they're omitting it. The story is pure bullshit. Now i want to see his true history. Wheres the anons when we need them? We need to air out his dirty laundry. I got in a taxi yesterday and the taxi driver was listening to this story on his phone in Spanish and I asked him what he thought about it and sure he was all sympathetic and said " well they gave him 110 years". I said the piece of s*** should have never been in my country and if the same thing happened to me it would have never made it to the news I have no sympathy for him and I hope they bury him under the prison. The taxi driver turned off his phone and I didn't hear another peep from him

6 cans on the tractor and 4 cans on the wagon.
The rookie missed the downshift and got hung in Georgia overdrive(nuetral)
Lack of experience locked him out of the gearbox and he smoked the brakes in a panic.
He used stalled traffic as a run away ramp to stop the rig.
Failing to avoid by steering off now has this shit stain doing life.
Im 40+ yrs heading to retire soon.
Big Trucks are a hazard in the US.

Semi brakes overheat easily. Which is one of the reasons they aren't allowed to go as fast. They keep using the brakes failing as an excuse, but it was probably him slamming on his brakes at such a high speed that caused them to fail. Whoever hired and trained him should be facing jail time as well.

[ - ] Jerd34 [op] 5 points 2.4 yearsDec 17, 2021 11:05:39 ago (+5/-0)

They definitely can fade, or even catch on fire. But outright failure would only mean loss of primary air. Then the spring brakes would engage. Even if there's no material left on the shoes, the power of the spring brakes is enough to completely lock up 2 axles. There would have been a skid mark trail and probably flames coming out of the brakes, the wheel seals would have burnt and leaked oil all over the axles setting brakes ablaze. There would be a huge mountain of evidence

[ - ] Flabbygasted 1 point 2.4 yearsDec 17, 2021 11:11:42 ago (+1/-0)

I haven't looked into this incident really. I figured there was a bunch of evidence considering both sides agreed the brakes "failed." Was there no skid mark?

I see you mention in your comment that brakes dont fail. I get that there are backup mechanisms, but I would consider catching fire as failing...as far as the brake pads and mechanism go.

And I'm not saying he was going that fast because of brake failure, I'm saying he had brake failure because he tried to stop going so fast.

[ - ] Jerd34 [op] 3 points 2.4 yearsDec 17, 2021 11:14:55 ago (+3/-0)

Research semi air brakes and the spring brake system. You will understand. Its practically impossible for them to just "fail". There's way more to this story that they're obviously not telling us.

[ - ] Flabbygasted 1 point 2.4 yearsDec 17, 2021 11:18:31 ago (+1/-0)

Then what's up with all those semi runaway ramps?

I could see this being some kind of conspiracy if the guy got no prison time, and there was no evidence that he tried to brake. But it seems like he is getting what he deserves... what would they not be telling us?

[ - ] Jerd34 [op] 4 points 2.4 yearsDec 17, 2021 11:24:20 ago (+4/-0)

They're obviously telling us only what they want us to hear. The thing about semi brakes and our safety systems in America is that we have been building upon these systems over the generations. We have many redundant systems for safety. Yes we have runaway truck ramps but we don't typically need them because of the amount of controls through Dot and safety regulations etc. If it was even possible that this truck had brake failure problems it would have never even been on the road especially in Colorado. Any other real diesel mechanic who has experience in trucks would agree. There's something missing to this story. You don't simply blame an accident like this on brake failure without presenting mountains and mountains of evidence

[ - ] Flabbygasted 0 points 2.4 yearsDec 17, 2021 11:58:28 ago (+0/-0)

I'm dont disagree that there are redundancies. But if you are relying on those redundancies (brake pad malfunction for example) then the vehicles performance is still diminished. It's not a matter of whether he can brake, but can he brake in time? A vehicle reducing speed will be more efficient with working brake pads. Now if there is no evidence of brake failure, then I totally agree with you...that would be odd. Like I said, I haven't looked into this incident, so I'll take your word for it, amigo.

[ - ] Jerd34 [op] 0 points 2.4 yearsDec 17, 2021 12:23:40 ago (+0/-0)

I don't need to really look into it that much I can take the very basic claims and see that this story is bullshit on its head starting with the fact that he was going 85 mph. All semi trucks are governed now. Especially in Colorado. To be going 85 mph in Colorado on i70 is already a crime and he shod go to prison just for that alone. Now if we distill away all of the possibilities that the systems worked and focus on the very very very mere chance that the perfect storm happened and somehow this truck was so heavily neglected that it the brake pedal itself wasn't connected to the air system then maybe there's some case but that's highly unlikely and it's not even worth consideration. Basically the whole story is bullshit this is nothing but propaganda for the Latino world. I have so much experience with these trucks and I know these systems like the back of my hand. There is absolutely no plausible explanation for this situation. They're omitting very pertinent information.

I'm not sure who you're responding to if it's me then yes we agree this is what I'm trying to say there's multiple redundant systems and safety measures in place and Colorado is one of the worst states for DOT. I've lived all over the country I've worked in this industry in 15 different states in Colorado was absolutely the most restricted. If it was even possible that this truck was so heavily neglected it would have never been near a highway in Colorado

What am I wrong about? You think melted brake pads are normal?

Nowhere did I say it doesn't take intense negligence to cause brakes to fail. Nor did I say loss of brake pads means the vehicle cannot stop.

Even if all of the material is gone the spring brake power is enough to weld the shoes to the brake drum and lock up the axle completely so he would have at least been dragging two axles I doubt he would be dragging two axles going 85 miles an hour. Not only would he be dragging two axles they would have most likely be billowing smoke and eventually flames until everyone including him would see it. Again this story is pure bullshit

Jesus christ semantics. Melted...cease to operate properly. So going well over regulated speeds and then slamming on the brakes has not effect on the brakes?

Where the fuck did I ever say this guy WAS NOT abusing his truck?

There's definitely a lot they're not telling us. This it the point I'm trying to make. This whole thing is shrouded in obscurity and lies. Wtf is really going on and why are they going to such lengths to protect him?

This has already been around the weebs - with immediate after crash video of the wreckage - i think someone also caught him going down the hill already appearing unable to slow the rig, and this section on the highway is well known and notorious for the steep rise and drop (or decline / can't recall the exact terminology) after already coming off from down the massive hill a ways back from the accident site and has multiple fcking signs warning Trucks and other vehicles of exactly that when going up.
What the articles are omitting to report on is he doesn't read English and can hardly speak English either - so he couldn't fcking read the signs alerting him to the known danger or of any of the upcoming Truck over runs anyway, of which he missed at least three coming off of the hill.
Nor that he reportedly told investigators that 'He didn't aim for the already parked trucks at the side of the road - while he knew he was out of control and couldn't stop - because he didn't want to get hurt so he went for the passenger cars instead' .

A true low IQ piece of shit. I don't give two fcks about him being ' a hard working family man' or any of that bs.
Ultimately instead of self sacrificing himself into the truck - he deliberately hit private vehicles - to ensure he might not get hurt. His sentence should be so long to reflect the admitted Deliberate choosing of serious harm and death to others to mitigate his own self from being hurt.

and then they are SORRY (crybaby) when they cause a DISASTER. Like it's ALL about HIM and NOT about everyone else AT ALL. and he WONDERS why he is not INSTANTLY forgiven, like it's OUR duty (burden) to FORGIVE him if he simply ASKS for it. That is NOT how repentance WORKS, WTF are the MISSIONARIES telling these stupid fucks? I'm beginning to think MISSIONARIES are with Satan. At LEAST they don't KNOW the Bible like the SHOULD.
