But I remember the days doctors didn't even know what AIDS was. They admitted it was an unknown, and didn't prescribe drugs they weren't paid to peddle. How would you treat your village doctor if you knew he was paid to kill your friends

Even still more old fashioned is to find the ones accountable. Sorry boyos, a bit drunk and rambling. Maybe main point is that we should look to the past in order to build the best future

Call me old fashioned but I remember if a boy played on a girls soccer team he would be ridiculed until way into his teens.
Or if a dude got caught wearing a dress or nail polish then someone would be getting a beating but also ridiculed relentlessly.
Call me old fashioned but I think single mothers and beta males don’t make good parents.

I remember when AIDS was an epidemic, and we still didn't know if you could get it from sharing drinking fountains or not. My parents, who worked on people's mouths with sharp objects, were forbidden from asking patients if they had it in order to wear more ppe.

HIV/AIDS is well studied at this point, it is a real virus causing a real disease.

Your point about doctors being pill pushers is well made, however. The opioid epidemic stems largely from overprescribed painkillers.
