What is the best (hard copy) survival book that I can buy for family members for Christmas?

Good place to start is to find books on the different plants in your area. Pictures. Are they edible? Poisonous? Maps of where they are. etc.

As for skills, don't buy a book. That info is useless in a book when SHTF. It belongs in the head.
