Most ancient european societies revered the boar as the symbol of warriors. Boar hunting was incredibly dangerous and the mark of a man.

I am reading the Belgariad series right now (initial book was 1982, so not SJW yet). It is fantasy, but the farm boy hero winds up having to deal with a wild boar. He does kill the boar but gets massively fucked up by it in the boar's death throes.

E: Also, fuck the electric jew. Read an older book.
