So, I'm in a situation where I'm kinda cozy with a company, and they wanna hire me. I'm wondering when is the time I should pop the (((vax mandate))) question, or if I should even remind them?
It has not been mentioned a single time throughout the entire interview/hiring/etc. process, as if it wasn't even an issue. I've also stated I'm going to be completely remote (roundabout way to not enter office and so no mask/testing/clotshot), which is approved, as they said it's their current environment now.
My plan so far is to review the formal letter of offer for any hidden T&Cs, then tell them to fuck off if they refuse to pull it out. But I'm wondering about the pros and cons of going about it quietly, versus taking the first initiative to make a fuss.
Don't say anything. If they mention it, ask what their employee accommodation process is. Don't say medical or religious, just ask for them to tell you the process. What they tell you should be enough information for you to make a decision.
If you bring it up now it is too easy for them to simply not give you an offer. If you wait until after you started the job they will be much more accommodating to your desires.
