Found a piece of land in the central valley of Costa Rica, close to the mountains and also close to downtown.
900 square meters with the possibility of using 60% of the land to build my family's house and have enough land to plant fruit trees, have an orchard that will give food to my family and I when the system of the enemy takes place. Have a wood workshop from which I can do some woodwork for the house and in the future use as barter when I am not allowed to sell or buy.
Land that I will be able to call my own, finally, and give my family a good quality of life. My nigger dog will have a big space to run around until her last days and then I will get me 2 German shepherds to guard the property and family.
Daughter is coming in the next couple of weeks, strong and healthy in all her ultrasounds. Kicking wife's belly a lot. Seems she wants to get out.
The Lord has been good to us. And we are grateful and faithful to Him in the name of Jesus Christ.
Hope this serves as testimony for those that believe and don't. You don't need a church. You just the Word of God and trust in it. Believe that Jesus will save you and that He will bless you and yours in hard and good times.
Hey man thanks! After this comes to fruition I am jumping to the stock/futures/crypto trading... I will definitely need your advise there as you seemed knowledgeable in the field if I recall correctly.
I'm the stock and options guy, Seanbox is the crypto guy.
I will help you in anyway i can, sir!
I lost all my fruit trees I had planted this winter during that texas freeze in February. Only the olive tree and one pomegranate is coming back. Probably going to plant peach, pear and pecan this winter to replace them.
- Bananas. - Oranges. - Lime. - Manga/Mango - Guayaba - maybe guava as you may know it. - Cas of the same family ↑ - Papaya.
On the orchard, we will have to see how to distribute the space - But do want potatos, - Yuca - Species - Peppers - Hot peppers And so on and so forth.
Still need to do the planning there But will keep you posted on that for sure.
You got me to create an account. Firstly congratulations. Secondly, just wondering why you decided to choose CR after they announced strict vaccine passports starting next month. Seems the goal is to be 100% self sifficient, and I know bartering and dealing with small businesses is big there. But just wondering.
Every country will be 100% passport or jail in the next 2 years. The off grid scenario still serves as a reason to limit all human interaction as much as possible. And the 3rd world is a far safer bet then the 2st world because a) corruption is reliable, whereas the 1st world leaders are actual religious believers. b) the less industrial infrastructure your country has, the less the gov has to force you in to, and inevitably less distance you’ve grown to rely on traveling to utilize it.
Approximately what does land like that cost down there? And I’m curious, if you’re from there, why not make a small move to Panama where land is arguably cheaper, and way less crime?

However, I found Voat back in 2016 I think.
Not proud of what my government is doing, but then again I have to deal with it in our way.

Because I am a nationalist and despite many things wrong in my country, I am not leaving it.
Additionally, that arguably is very vague. https://www.nationmaster.com/country-info/compare/Costa-Rica/Panama/Crime
For example more crimes are reported in Costa Rica than in Panama but ironically way more murders happen in Panama. Among many other types of crimes.
Panamá has a bigger drug problem and ilegal immigration problem than Costa Rica.
They also have less police men down there. Which is another reason why less crime is reported.
