Flat earthers should have a world-wide convention. Most of the people would have to fly in and would see the curvature of the earth from the plane for themselves. When they get to the convention they could share their new found wisdom with the rest of them. Anyone still in disbelief would only have to fly somewhere to see for themselves.
Are you retarded. As if people that believe the world is flat never flew on a plane? There 8s no curvature. It's called a vanishing point. You'd learn about it I a basic art class. But the jews said it wasn't flat so why not ignore perspective and vanishing points. If you can't see it,it must be on the other side. Lol.
If the earth is a sphere with a radius of ~3,959 Miles mathematically the distance to the physical horizon (earth curve) could be calculated as follows; ~1.22 (√ Height of the observer in feet) = Distance to the horizon in miles from the observer.
Just go to the fucking ocean... do you see the water continue with no curve? No, the water disappears. I can see farther than 4 miles, given enough light, so why wouldn't I be able to see the water continue?
Find me one video of an awesome camera zooming in for miles, and the water continuing at eye level.
I would expect to see the ocean continue on passed 4 miles. So...more ocean.
Now tell me, given enough light and no obstruction, why wouldn't I be able to see farther than 4 miles? Especially if the moon is at the horizon and I can clearly see the moon.
As an artist, that's impossible given perspective and vanishing points. The further away an object is, the smaller it appears until it is so small that the human eye can not detect it.
As for why you can't see past 4 miles, you're body and organs have limitations. You can absolutely see past 4 miles with instruments. Take lighthouses for example. They should dissappear and be rendered useless yet ships can still see them well beyond 4 miles using instruments.
As far as lighthouses... instruments, and higher elevation.
Okay, you say the farther away the object is, the smaller it gets. And yet this ocean you describe expands far beyond the horizon (going from Cali to China is way beyond the scope of four miles, correct?) The ocean isnt getting smaller. So the view point from my perspective is actually a tiny portion of the object itself. I don't believe 4 miles would be the cut off where a "horizon" is created because I cant see beyond that.
The higher elevation would not be a factor. It might give you further visibility if the world were round but not enough to justify seeing a lighthouse that should be hidden by miles of curvature.
There are also lots of experiments that have used different lenses. An object that dissappears past the horizon can easily be seen again if a powerful telescope is used. The average person would not have access to such technology. You need a jew pass in their academia to have access to those. So seeing China would not be feasible for average Joe. But there are experiments you can do yourself by comparing different telescopes with a common man's budget.
Higher elevation most certainly is a factor. Is literally in the equation.
And there are a hundred simple experiments showing its round. If this more advanced telescope thing were real, there would be a tourist destination set up with this particular camera, pointing out to an island 300 miles away. People could go, look through it and see 300 miles along the flat plane. But to my knowledge, nothing like that exists. If your argument is oh, the government won't let us see the truth, that is not enough.
And why does it have to be a powerful telescope. Wouldnt a decent telescope still show more ocean (just not as much as the powerful one) this experiment could be done by anyone.
Having a lighthouse 150ft above sea level wouldn't explain seeing it when it should be hidden beneath miles of curvature. An equation consists of multiple variables. I don't know what variables you are using but the curvature per mile is definitely a factor that renders lighthouses unless on a curved world.
And no, there would be no tourist destination to see it if there were a conspiracy to lie about it. I live in a world where people are told to put on face diapers and get shots for a virus that has never been isolated. That's how stupid people are. So you can't convince me that it's impossible for a global conspiracy to exist with enough sheep to prop it up. And if you think communist China isn't just another player for the globalist then this argument is pointless. I might as well be arguing with a pro vaxxer about vaccines. They don't objectively view the data and instead call you crazy for believing a global conspiracy exists.
And yes, there are experiments you can do yourself. They've It's been done. It's literally iterally the reason I'm telling about lighthouses.
That's why I said it's in the equation. I'm well aware there are different parts of the equation...but you have provided no actual evidence of a ship being too far out, yet seeing a lighthouse. Should I just take your word that somewhere in the ocean, a ship saw a lighthouse it shouldn't have been able to see?
I have a very basic, simple question: If I go to the ocean with a telescope that anyone could buy, I will be able to see more miles of ocean on a flat plane?
