IDK how California works. In Texas, to get funding, you just have to have them show up. So they focus on that.

It's a federal thing I think, started under bush, "no child left behind." Basically schools get extra funding for kids that achieve certain standardised test scores, so the schools all started faking scores.

Around here they went to 1-2-3-4, no more F's and D's because it makes kids feel bad. But now 1-2 is the new F-D so kids getting 1-2 feel bad so how do we fix that? Are we gonna revert to a thumbs up and thumbs down?
