There seem to be so many "miraculous" stories out there of people who've defied the medical industry and recovered from serious conditions only to not be believed down the track. I was wondering if there are people here on poal who can share their own medical remedies that have worked for them.
Long, long ago I had some breathing problems which the medical system immediately decided was asthma, gave me the relief inhaler (this helped), a "prevention" inhaler (did nothing and tasted bad), and this awful "peak flow" tester thingy.
No sign of anything changing for a bit, was basically faced with needing the relief inhalers forever... then through word of mouth I heard about the Buteyko breathing method.
The basic theory is that the body spazzes out when it has the wrong CO2 level, where breathing too strongly can exhale CO2 too quickly. The fact that CO2 is the waste product of respiration is irrelevant, what matters is that the body somehow uses CO2 as its metric, not O2.
Therefore, the Buteyko method is to pick a quiet moment to breathe out nice and slowly, then just hold it there for a while without breathing in. That is, you hold your breath out for a bit - not uncomfortably long or often, just longer than normal and whenever you can. Doing that gradually raises that CO2 metric, in an attempt to stop the negative breathing reactions.
Well, it fucking worked. Within a week or so I was totally fine and I never needed a single inhaler puff in decades since.
I am convinced that the "peak flow" test is a horseshit scam to get you doing exactly the wrong fucking thing (exhaling rapidly...) and make the breathing problem worse. Fuck knows what was in the "prevention" inhaler, probably something which makes the body's CO2 alarm threshold even higher to be sure of never meeting it naturally and needing repeat prescriptions.
The body senses co2 because it makes the blood acidic. So the body measures the change in pH, that's why diabetics can get really rapid, deep breathing. Their blood gets too acidic and the body tries to compensate by blowing off all the co2.
I just realized. Did everybody see earlier this year about how there was a mother who got vaccinated and her breastfed child died, and there were other breastfed children who broke out in rashes?
If they're vaccinating sea otters, major dairy operations must be vaccinating their dairy and beef cows.
I haven't been interested in eating meat from the grocery store, whereas before Covid it would've been disagreeable to miss a day. I've also been eating more fruit this year than I ever did before, to the point I hold back for financial reasons. Who wants to spend more per day on fruit than they would on a steak.

I used to have lots of cavities with more forming all the time. Well,I started using coconut oil as an after mouthwash treatment. Haven't had a cavity since.
Organic,non-GMO,unrefined,cold pressed, virgin. The more of these you get,the better it works. After a brushing, put it in for 20 minutes. I do an hour. Afterwards,my teeth feel great and strong.
I had ulcerative colitis. I fixed it with 500mg quercetin with every meal, cbd twice a day for the inflammation, and apple cider vinegar with honey to restore my gut biome. I also used the peptide bcp-157 to accelerate the healing of the lesion. It really didn’t take too long, and I’m way better for it.
This wasn't anything I had been seeking treatment for, but I had emotional spikes unable to take off one day after taking cod liver oil, and one day after that they were gone. I was afraid they'd come back, but they haven't even when I've neglected to take it for months. Rosita is the most trustworthy brand I know of.
I was hesitant to try raw milk, but now I'll never go back. I realized pasteurized messed with my ears. I haven't had my brother introduce me as partially deaf in years. Now only mask wearers perceive I'm hard of hearing.
After I started drinking raw milk gender dysphoria coupled with OCD I'd had for two years went away. I didn't change my appearance (I was discovered in high school and thank God my mom didn't let me become a "Cover Girl") or who I was attracted to, but it was a nuisance because I couldn't picture myself; it was like my thoughts bounced when I tried. This meant I couldn't picture myself in the future and plan for it. I also was surprised every time I looked in the mirror. It would take me a moment to recognize myself. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a demonic component.
So long as the cow is healthy raw milk is very healthful. Butter is a superfood. Milk from diseased Frankencows in concentrated feeding operations is pasteurized for good reason, but that's sort of like having to cook similar-quality hamburger well done for safety or cook eggs from chickens in crowded, disease-ridden conditions (back in the day they could put raw eggs in milkshakes, chocolate mousse, mayonnaise. Now you can only safely do that if the eggs are from pastured chickens).
Depending on what state you're in you may have to go to a farm or another state to get it. Scroll down for map, or search at the next link.

I'm a woman attracted to men. The attraction to men didn't change. I still wanted to marry and have children. What changed was I felt like I had tipped from feeling female/neutral/normal to what I perceived as male. It was very comfortable, and in roleplaying games it was a real effort to play a female character but making male characters was a pleasure and a breeze, almost a compulsion now that I think about it, deeply satisfying to fulfill, and like I said, the gender dysphoria came and went with some OCD behaviors. I didn't make the connection until now, but gender dysphoria must be an expression of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Editing to add: Anorexia is also an expression of OCD, which I learned from Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, who was able to treat it half the time if she could get enough homemade broth in them (nutritionally powerful but low enough in calories to persuade some of them to have "a little something. It's like flavored water.") Another case of looking in the mirror and seeing something different than reality.
