What ??, the foam sealing is on the inside of the front door, set back from the metal - which is exactly what is up against the cats leg. Regardless, you have a solid door forcing the leg against the rest of the fridge and even if its padded, it will still snap with enough force. Stick your arm in between the garage door struts at the side and then close it ...lol.
