Higher gas prices have typically meant more jobs, more tax revenue for state and local gov'ts, and so on down the line. From production, to exploration, to every single support industry for oil and gas, to even the local refinery and plants jobs. So.. what's the problem? Costs too much to go take the boat out for a trump flotilla?

I work at a oil storage plant. What comes in and out? LPG (gas) ships, hardly any oil nowadays. like 3-4 gas ships per 1 oil. Place used to be packed and ships waiting in line to get on a dock. LPG kept the company afloat in the plandemic. Place is a ghost town in comparison to what it used to be. Where are all these gas/oil jobs at?

Oh btw, Thanks for shutting down the keystone pipeline, our company had to rebuild our rail system to get the EXACT same oil anyway. What a messy system rails are, oil is saturated in the ground underneath the tank cars (there's a concrete slab under the gravel etc I believe but still). I can show you how messy it is. I had to dig up a part of it.

Biden really didn't have that much to do with it though. Trump launched the lockdowns in March 2020 that sent wti crude to -30 a barrel. Investment in new wells ground to a halt and now we are seeing the result of that decreased production.

Biden does play a part in prices remaining high though because US frackers are still hesitant to invest due to his party's rabid nonsensical faux environmentalism and fears that he'll lock the country down over nothing.
