That is an out of context application of an argument the image was not suggesting. I see your point, I just don't think it's relevant to the image. I also agree that intentional homicide is far different than self defense. The point of the image is to use the "lefts" articulation of events that would suggest the item instead of the person committed the offense. It's obviously satire.
