My family is/was the biker gang in my city. All i had to do was tell people my dad was a 350lb biker and people turned pale. It even worked on teachers and principals.

My uncle was in one when I was growing up and my dad rode, too. It was a nice comfort, knowing you weren’t ever going to be fucked with. My dad would show up with his dragpipes blasting to pick me up from first grade and parents’ eyes would turn into saucers lol.

Is he actually a tough guy? I have known and do know bikers from yesteryear and today. I really don't know behind the scenes stuff, but I know that they are always good-hearted people. Sometimes they're a little screwed up, but always self-aware. They usually offer help and assistance. I go camping with a few, they always step up to help the group.
